We offer a variety of services listed below. If there is a service you are looking for that is not listed, feel free to contact me to discuss.
Prenatal Support
Prenatal support is crucial for the health and well-being of both the mother and the baby. It can help identify and manage any potential health issues, provide education on proper nutrition and exercise, and offer emotional support during this exciting but often challenging time. By receiving adequate prenatal support, mothers can increase their chances of having a healthy and a successful delivery. I am here to help answer all your questions regarding conception, education prenatally and postnatal for both moms, babies and families.
Birth Doula
A nurse who is also a birth doula can provide a unique combination of medical expertise and emotional support during childbirth. They can help expectant mothers navigate the healthcare system, provide comfort measures during labor, and advocate for the mother's wishes and needs. Additionally, they can offer postpartum and education on newborn care.
Labor Support
No matter the type of birth you may or may not want, we will take it as it comes. As a labor doula I am here to provide you with non-judgmental, unbiased, emotional, physical and informative support. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine "published data indicate that one of the most effective tools to improve labor and delivery outcomes is the continuous presence of support personnel, such as a doula. Given that there are no associated measureable harms, this resource is probably underutilized."
Postpartum Support
As a postpartum doula I am here to support you and your needs. A postpartum doula is here to help families adjust to daily life with a new baby. Some services provided include: maternal postnatal care, help with emotional and physical recovery from birth, screening for postpartum mood disorders, breastfeeding/ feeding support, newborn care, light housekeeping, sibling care, providing education and more. According to the American Pregnancy Association "research shoes that moms, dads, and babies have an easier time with this transition if a good support team is in place."

What is the difference between a doula and baby nurse?

The role of the postpartum doula is to support everyone in the family, including mom, dad, siblings and baby. A baby nurse's sole focus is the new baby. The doula is there to support mom through the postpartum period and help the family as a whole.
Infant feeding
Infant feeding can be very overwhelming with so many options available. Which is the right choice for you and your family? I want you to feel supported and confident no matter how you decide to feed your baby. With the knowledge provided from being a labor and delivery nurse as well as a mom of two and a certified infant care specialist, I know that I can support you in your feeding journey.
Virtual Services
We offer services to everyone, everywhere. We are here to offer our virtual services to all clients in the hopes of building strength and confidence for new families. Virtual services are offered for labor and postpartum support. I am here to help answer questions, providence guidance and education, and most importantly to offer support and resources.
